More recently, Ashley, a longtime friend of Rosy’s, gave birth to her second daughter, Everley. Ashley’s journey into healthy living came about after a demanding job in Toronto left her burnt out, exhausted and feeling sick from all of the processed food she consumed while travelling. Her move to Vancouver was the start of clean eating and, similar to Rosy, having her children really put into question not only what she put in their bodies but also what was put on them.
One afternoon Rosy and Ashley were catching up and quickly came to the realization that their goals were closely aligned in seeking to nurture their families and their careers. They started to imagine the possibility of creating something together. As they strolled Everley around until she finally fell asleep it dawned on them that together, given their complementary skill sets, they could harness Rosy’s unique recipes that had stood the test of time for centuries in India and have them made in state of the art facilities here in North America to help make families healthier.
And the rest is history.
